About The Position
The Rehabilitation Aide will be responsible for assisting therapist/assistant teams in caring for their patients. The aide will prepare treatment areas; assist with toileting patients, clean equipment, order supplies for the department and perform various duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in the medical field.
Responsibilities
- Assist therapist and assistant with treatment programs.
- Provides assistance to patients for toileting and ADL care as needed.
- Provides assistance with Speech Therapy and Dining Program as scheduled.
- Maintains department equipment including but not limited to hydrocollator, cold pac freezer, washer and dryer as well as wheelchairs.
- Prepares treatment areas.
- Maintains/stocks linens and supplies.
- Assists the therapist in patient transport to and from the gym/speech therapy office.
