About The Position

This is a per diem Housekeeping Aide position. The role requires a high degree of physical activity including pulling, pushing, twisting, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Strength and mobility are essential. The individual must have normal vision and hearing acuity, and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Strong people skills are necessary. The role involves exposure to cleaning agents, water, dust, blood, and human body fluids. The ability to move beds, isolates, cribs, and Ohio tables weighing up to 350 lbs is required, as is the ability to handle all EVS equipment such as floor machines, wet mops, mop buckets, custodial carts, dust mops, and vacuums.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• High degree of pulling, pushing, twisting, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, walking, standing
• Strength (lift up to 50 lbs.) and mobility essential
• Normal vision and hearing acuity
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Strong people skills
• Exposure to cleaning agent, water, dust, blood and human body fluids
• Ability to move beds, isolates, cribs and ohio tables weighing up to 350 lbs
