About The Position

The Rehab Aide prepares patient treatment areas by cleaning and restocking supplies and supports day-to-day operations, including patient appointment scheduling and client check-in and check-out. The role supports physical and occupational therapy staff in delivering patient care and helps maintain the facility’s equipment and physical environment. The position is located at 10 High Street in Wakefield, with a listed schedule of 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Ortho Rhode Island is part of Spire Orthopedic Partners, a management services organization that provides administrative infrastructure and operational resources to orthopedic practices. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
At least one year of orthopedic-related work.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
Pertinent job-related experience and medical terminology knowledge.
Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese skills.
Kinesiology background.

Responsibilities

Greet patients promptly, courteously, and professionally.
Support physical and occupational therapy clinical staff in delivering patient care as indicated.
Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for treatments.
Clean, organize, and maintain equipment used for patient care.
Maintain the facility’s physical environment.
Support day-to-day functions, including patient appointment scheduling and client check-in and check-out.
Perform other duties as assigned.
