About The Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Fragrance & Beauty Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety (RAPS) team, in the role of Temporary Regulatory Specialist. Set within the RAPS Customer Relations team based out of our offices in Ashford, Kent (Great Britain), your primary responsibility will be to manage customer's accounts, providing appropriate regulatory support on customer's requirements for Fragrance Business. Our wider global RAPS team, work collectively towards our overall purpose. Requirements

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • University / Bachelor's Degree in scientific or other relevant field
  • Experience in regulatory field
  • Experience with main product category activities and general market dynamics.
  • Knowledge of regulatory systems and databases, as well as advanced MS Office experience
  • Knowledge of industry and customer regulatory requirements, growing trends and regulatory legislation.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory issues in the Cosmetic, Chemicals and Fragrances fields.

Nice To Haves

  • Language skills in another European language is welcomed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customers and contribute, through compliance and regulatory activities, to the lifecycle of fragrance creations within Givaudan
  • Interact with globally dispersed functional teams within Givaudan to interpret compliance as required
  • Identify early compliance issues that may improve business, where needed demonstrating the ability to critically assess the level of impact and provide input on mitigation strategies
  • Represent Givaudan at the local Industry Trade Associations to provide positions on issues as well influencing partners for beneficial of the upcoming regulations and issues management
