We are Givaudan. Human by nature. As a Production Supervisor you will oversee efficient production operations to deliver top-quality flavor and fragrance products. Main responsibilities include managing performance, controlling inventory, and implementing safety-focused manufacturing processes. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will improve Lean projects and capacity enhancements, engaging with team boards and meetings. Requirements

  • Vocational diploma in Technical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of production experience with exposure to quality and materials process management
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in people management
  • Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Microsoft experience
  • Knowledge of project management principles

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Manufacturing Manager by overseeing and coordinating production operations within specific plant sections to ensure delivery of intermediate or finished flavor/fragrance products.
  • Manage the production area's performance to meet schedules, control inventory for material availability, and monitor output for quality and efficiency.
  • Prepare production reports for performance issue identification and resolution.
  • Define manufacturing processes that align with safety, EHS standards, and productivity goals.
  • Improve programs, manage capacity enhancements, and lead Lean program rollouts with active involvement in team boards and meetings.
  • Oversee staff to ensure safe task performance and equipment operation.
  • Oversee documentation of staff performance, provide ongoing feedback, conduct mid-year and end-year reviews, and make recommendations on hiring, firing, and salary increases.
  • Train new employees on operational procedures and standards.
