About The Position

Novig is building America's #1 sports prediction market and has recently become a CFTC-designated market. The company is seeking a Regulatory Chief of Staff to work directly with the Chief Regulatory & Legal Affairs Officer. This role involves tracking regulatory developments, drafting filings, managing board and committee governance, and ensuring the company's commitments are implemented. The regulatory landscape for prediction markets is actively being shaped, and this position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of these developments.

Responsibilities

  • Track every open rulemaking, comment deadline, and filing.
  • Turn rulebook commitments into written procedures, metrics, and review cycles.
  • Build systems to increase team productivity, such as trackers, templates, calendars, and briefing documents.
  • Engage directly with the Hill, state governments, and federal agencies including the CFTC and Treasury.
  • Work directly with the Chief Regulatory & Legal Affairs Officer as the connective tissue of the regulatory function.
  • Draft and shepherd filings.
  • Run board and committee governance.
  • Turn commitments on paper into company actions.
