About The Position

Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state. Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility, Westridge Marine Terminal, with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets. Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative, motivated, and values-driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Regulatory and Land Services Analyst. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the Regulatory, Land and Permitting Department by improving business processes, managing reporting and tracking tools, supporting data and records management, and coordinating key department initiatives. This role will help deliver department initiatives, build schedules and identify dependencies key to success.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic team environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • An ability to influence key stakeholders and contributors to the success of department goals and objectives.
  • Excellent information systems skills, technical skills and software skills.
  • Experience in the development of reporting and tracking tools.
  • A track record of delivering high‑quality work, managing competing priorities, and supporting key business processes or operational functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels across the organization.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly, respectfully, and professionally.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and a willingness to contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Oil and gas industry experience will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions to improve performance.
  • Conduct process reviews, gap analyses, and requirements assessments to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to provide transparent, accurate information to team members and senior leadership.
  • Build and track project schedules and implementation plan to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with objectives.
  • Leverage technology and information systems to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and increase overall productivity.
  • Establish and maintain QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and government policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Project Controls, Supply Chain) to support department and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Support department planning and execution by managing action items, contributing to ISLMS requirements, goal tracking, and preparing clear presentations for leadership.
