About The Position

Responsible for maintaining records, compiling demographic information, submitting the necessary documents in order to keep licenses and permits active. To help ensure that qata, forms and supporting documentation are constantly updated in order to support the functions of the regulatory and licensing team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory and licensing framework
  • Knowledge in various aspects of the healthcare industry, including federal, state, county and city rules and regulations including the operations of home infusion pharmacies and home health agencies.
  • Manage email communications from various regulatory agencies in a timely way.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent judgment and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at various levels, including branch managers and governmental agencies' processing personnel.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to serve as a liaison with key internal stakeholders, Pharmacists m Charge (PIC), regulatory team, attorneys, and external organizations
  • Superior ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities, and meet deadlines daily
  • Proficient with computer applications, such as Microsoft Teams, Windows, Excel and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred
  • At least 2+ years licensing experience preferred (Pharmacy or any healthcare entity)
  • At least 1 + year regulatory filing and/or credentialing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conducts licensing and regulatory data management and maintenance of the pharmacy profiles in the following systems: National Provider Identification (NPI) networks, National Practitioner Databank (NPDB), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Maintenance of Licensing database, Processing routine business license and ancillary renewals, Maintaining and auditing clinical leadership (Pharmacist and Nurse) licenses, Facilitate the mailing of documents using FEDEX, UPS or Certified mail, Processing incoming mail and docketing correspondence in the licensing database.
  • Continuously monitor changes and evaluate specific activities that may have an impact on the current licenses including but not limited to relocations, company name changes and changes of Pharmacist in Charge, Nursing Administrator and Director Nursing.
