About The Position

The Faculty of Arts, Department of Modern Languages and Literatures is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Intermediate Italian II (ITA2912, Section A) during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course focuses on refining speaking, reading, and writing skills through exercises, composition, conversation, and the use of literary and non-literary texts, video, music, and film. Upon completion, students will achieve level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The course is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:30 to 19:00 and will be delivered in person. Requirements

M.A. in Italian or equivalent.
Italian-speaking or near-native linguistic competence in Italian.
Experience in teaching Intermediate Italian levels at university.
Experience in creating and managing virtual content, as well as applications related to virtual teaching.
Experience with Brightspace.
Bilingual (French and English).
