About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the PSY6002 Practicum in Applied Research course for the 2026 Spring-Summer Semester. The practicum is designed for students to gain experience in an applied research setting off campus, such as in pharmaceutical or high-technology industries, human resources management services, hospitals, or school settings. Students will complete 90 hours of work on research projects related to their area of expertise, simulating a co-op system to apply and test their knowledge and skills in a professional environment. Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology or related discipline
- Advanced knowledge of the course content area
- Competence in second language: Passive (English instruction)
Responsibilities
- Teach the "Practicum en recherche appliquée / Practicum in Applied Research" course (PSY6002)
- Supervise students in applied research settings off campus
- Guide students in gaining experience in the workforce and testing their knowledge and skills
