About The Position
This Paraprofessional position is in a progressive Inclusive setting at a K8 Charter School in Woodland Hills, CA, where students of all abilities learn together. The role involves working collaboratively with a team of Special Education and General Education teachers, as well as related service providers such as speech and language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and adaptive PE teachers. Paraprofessionals will support students with a wide variety of disabilities within a general education setting, gaining experience with both students with disabilities and "typically developing" students. CHIME offers an environment for individuals to explore their fit in education and disability fields or to gain training and experience.
