The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for ANT4520 A00 (Anthropology of Law) for the Fall 2026 semester. This course offers a comparative examination of the relationships between law, the state, and social order in various historical and national contexts, including colonialism and "democratic globalization." It will also explore issues related to the redefinition of relationships between the judiciary, legislature, and rights-holders within a national context.
