About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach EDU5190 - Introduction to Research in Education during the Fall 2026 semester. The course introduces students to understanding and applying research in education, including researching a topic, critical reading, and an overview of various types of applied research. The course will be delivered asynchronously via the web.

Requirements

  • PhD in education or a field of study related to the course.
  • Publications in the field of study within the last 5 years.
  • Expertise in this subject area.
  • Experienced in e-learning.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Introduction to Research in Education (EDU5190, Section DA10) during the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Deliver an asynchronous web-based course.
  • Introduce students to understanding and applying research in education.
  • Cover topics such as researching a topic, critical reading, and an overview of various types of applied research.
