About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach EDU5190 - Introduction to Research in Education during the Fall 2026 semester. The course introduces students to understanding and applying research in education, including researching a topic, critical reading, and an overview of various types of applied research. The course is delivered via videoconference, requiring students to be online simultaneously.
Requirements
- PhD in education or a field of study related to the course.
- Publications in the field of study within the last 5 years.
- Expertise in the subject area of Introduction to Research in Education.
- Experienced in e-learning.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
Responsibilities
- Teach Introduction to Research in Education (EDU5190, Section DS10) during the Fall 2026 semester.
- Deliver instruction via videoconference, ensuring students are online at the same time.
- Engage students in understanding and applying research in education.
