About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach Arabic Culture II (ARB2102, Section A) during the Winter 2027 semester. The course provides an introduction to modern Arabic culture as reflected in the literature of the Arab revival in the XIXth and XXth centuries. The course will be offered in person and is instructed in English.
Requirements
- M.A. in Arabic or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Arabic culture.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Experience in the teaching of Arabic culture in English.
- Bilingual; French and English.
Responsibilities
- Teach Arabic Culture II (ARB2102, Section A) during the Winter 2027 semester.
- Provide instruction in English.
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
