About The Position
The Faculty of Arts, Department of Modern Languages and Literatures is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Introduction to Arabic Literature (ARB3901, Section A) during the Winter 2027 semester. This course offers a survey of Arabic Literature, covering themes, schools, and genres, with an analysis of representative texts. No prior knowledge of Arabic is required. The course is scheduled for Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM and has an expected enrollment of 70 students. The language of instruction is English.
Requirements
- M.A. in Arabic or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of Arabic Literature
- Bilingual French-English
- Excellent knowledge of Arabic
- Experience in the teaching of Arabic Literature
