About The Position
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the Structural Design in Timber course (CVG4146) during the Fall 2026 semester. This position is limited to a Regular Part-Time Professor. The course is scheduled to meet on Mondays from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The expected enrollment is 40 students, and the course is worth 3 credits. Requirements
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Competence in a second language (passive).
Responsibilities
- Teach the Structural Design in Timber course (CVG4146).
- Deliver instruction in English.
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
