About The Position

The Faculty of Social Sciences, specifically the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies, is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach FEM2510: Sexualité, genre et culture populaire during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course examines the constructions of gender and sexuality in popular culture through feminist analyses of how social relations of gender, race, and sexuality are conceptualized and experienced in relation to institutions, technologies, practices, and representations of popular culture. The course will be delivered in person on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:30 to 19:00. Requirements

  • Doctorate or doctoral coursework in the field of the announced course.
  • Teaching experience in the field.
  • Competence in French (language of instruction).
  • Ability to complete mandatory legislated training.
