About The Position

This is a part-time (0.50 FTE) Regular Education Paraprofessional position at Grand Prairie Elementary, working 2.5 hours per shift in the mornings, Monday through Friday, for 9 months of the year. The role involves assisting students academically and socially, requiring the ability to work independently and as a team member. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and positively interact with students. Responsibilities include learning basic curriculum application in small group settings.

Requirements

• One of the following State of Illinois Licenses registered in Will County: Paraprofessional Approval (PARA(STA)), Paraprofessional (ELS(PARA)), Substitute (SUB), or Professional Educator License (PEL)
• College transcripts with 60+ credit hours or have passed the WorkKeys Assessment submitted to obtain licensure/certification
