About The Position

The Registration Scheduling Specialist is an initial point of contact for new patients at Main Line Health Center - Concordville. The specialist collects and captures accurate patient data, provides empathetic customer service, and helps patients understand their financial responsibilities and available services. The role also involves communicating with nursing staff, other departments, physician and medical offices, and the general public to provide outstanding service.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of registration experience in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of insurance and third-party reimbursement.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an initial point of contact for new patients.
• Collect and capture accurate patient data.
• Provide excellent, empathetic customer service.
• Help patients understand their financial responsibility and the services available to them.
• Communicate with nursing staff, other departments, physician offices, medical offices, and the general public to provide outstanding service.
