About The Position

The incumbent is responsible for review of incoming loan files from customers. The incumbent will follow written procedures to complete the setup process and generates accurate initial disclosures within required company time frames.

Requirements

Previous mortgage experience required.
Ability to multi task in a fast paced fluid environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Previous data entry experience.
Previous customer service experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Receive and index electronic file submissions.
Review documents for accuracy and compliance with all State and Federal regulations.
Audit and review GFE for compliance and request corrections as needed.
Understand and strictly adhere to RESPA, Dodd-Frank and HMDA regulations.
Order appropriate reports and verifications per product guidelines and company requirements through appropriate vendors.
Confirm documentation submitted meets program minimum requirements as well as follows company requirement.
Perform data entry of loan package according to written policy and procedure as well as generate accurate initial disclosure within mandatory time frames.
Troubleshoot compliance failures with broker to determine if loan can be restructured to pass all compliance tests prior to company acceptance of the loan. This includes working with the internal lock desk, Regional Sales Manager, Account Executive and Account Managers.
Maintain company determined production standards.
Reports any loan problems or customer complaints to immediate supervisor.
Ensures all work is performed within company defined standards and guidelines.
Notify applicable parties of incomplete transaction information, corrections needed, or of loan disclosure and submittal to Underwriting.
