The Registration Coordinator is responsible for initiating the logistics process by entering and registering shipment orders, maintaining accurate records, monitoring shipment activity, and resolving service exceptions. This position serves as a critical link between customers, transportation providers, and internal teams to ensure shipment information remains accurate and operations run efficiently. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a logistics, transportation, operations, customer service, or related administrative role.
  • Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer service experience with the ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues independently within established procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college coursework in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, maritime, automotive, relocation, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with shipment tracking systems, databases, or document management systems.
  • Experience supporting quality assurance or testing initiatives is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter new orders and shipment information into computerized tracking systems.
  • Register shipments and ensure all related data is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records across multiple operating systems and databases.
  • Review databases for discrepancies, identify errors, and implement corrections to maintain data integrity.
  • Trace shipments with transportation providers, suppliers, and service partners while updating operational records.
  • Troubleshoot shipment and service exceptions, responding promptly to escalated issues.
  • Support departmental initiatives and process improvement efforts.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including document management, phone support, data entry, and record maintenance.
  • Scan, organize, and maintain electronic files within document management systems.
  • Update schedules, logs, and operational task lists on a daily basis.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and user acceptance testing as needed.
  • Assist with additional duties to support overall operational success.
