The Registrar's Office Student Assistant provides support to the Registrar's Office staff in various capacities and functions. This role involves answering the phone, providing administrative support, data entry, and other assigned duties. The assistant will engage with students, guests, and other university personnel, answering questions, assisting with processes and physical directions, and providing excellent customer service. Tasks include assisting with registration, FERPA questions/paperwork, uploading documents to student records, and graduation ceremonies. The role also involves printing, copying, and student data entry. The assistant must become knowledgeable about university records policies, be committed to student information privacy, and be willing to assist where needed. Once trained, the assistant should be able to handle day-to-day questions and issues with minimal direct supervision. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
