About The Position

This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used for providing valuable educational experiences for the Intern. It is to give the Intern an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied in actual work setting. Under general supervision, the Intern performs work as assigned by the department. Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work. From the IT professional who develops an app that sends the gospel message worldwide, to the facilities manager who maintains our buildings— giving Church members places to worship, teach, learn, and receive sacred ordinances—our employees seek innovative ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. They are literally working in His kingdom. Only members of the Church who are worth of a temple recommend qualify for employment. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university or have graduated within the past year.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Quick learner of software applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are a must as this position
  • Team player.
  • Understand how to use remote work tools, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support through email, chat, support software, and virtual meetings.
  • Learn how to use Seminary & Institute software and systems used to track work.
  • Communicate effectively with users in the field, product managers, and report findings to the Registrar.
  • Generating reports on enrollment data and contribute to a more efficient workflow with data collection.
  • Maintain professional work habits. (Answer emails, be present in meetings, etc.)
