Registered Veterinary Technologist - Wood Buffalo Animal Hospital
About The Position
Wood Buffalo Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join their team. This is a temporary role to cover a leave, with the possibility of staying on full-time afterward. The RVT will build positive client relationships, assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures, use diagnostic equipment, prepare patients and equipment for surgery, and administer and monitor medicines under veterinary direction. The hospital has been serving the community for over 25 years and offers a full range of veterinary services in a warm and welcoming environment. They are dedicated to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine and fostering personal and professional growth.
Requirements
- Must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE.
- Be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association.
- Successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.

Responsibilities
