About The Position

Cambrian Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician or registration-eligible candidate to join their busy and collaborative small animal practice in Calgary, Alberta. The role involves working alongside a supportive team of 3 DVMs and experienced support staff in a modern, well-equipped hospital where teamwork, mentorship, and high-quality patient care are prioritized. The hospital is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown Calgary, offering access to city amenities and nearby outdoor spaces. At Cambrian Animal Hospital, there is a strong emphasis on building client relationships and delivering exceptional patient care. RVTs are empowered to fully utilize their technical skills daily, with encouragement for professional development in areas such as anesthesia, surgery, nutrition, leadership, or client education.

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician or registration-eligible candidate.
  • Animal Health Technician / Veterinary Technician Diploma.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the provincial regulatory association.
  • VTNE passed or scheduled to be completed soon.
  • Passion for veterinary medicine and delivering compassionate patient care.
  • Interest and enthusiasm for surgery and anesthesia rotations.
  • Positive attitude, energy, and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong communication and client relationship-building skills.
  • Motivation to continue learning and growing professionally.
