Requirements

  • Registered/Provisional Veterinary Technician required
  • 2+ years working in a veterinary clinic
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Commitment to develop long term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community we serve
  • Reliable, organized, and committed to provide high level care to our patients and clients
  • A craving for lifelong learning and continuous improvements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
  • Ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected

  • All current positions require the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Emergency or Specialty experience preferred, but not required
  • Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Practice the full scope of RVT, LVT or CVT credential in a 24-hour specialty and emergency environment.
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection.
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging and perform basic interpretation (radiographs, ultrasound support).
  • Monitor anesthesia, including vitals, depth assessment, and adjustments.
  • Calculate and administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, CRIs).
  • Set up and maintain fluid therapy.
  • Assist with surgical prep, maintain sterile technique, and handle instruments.
  • Monitor patients, including vitals, pain scoring, and trend recognition.
  • Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients, including nutrition, wound care, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate in a highly team-oriented environment.
  • Develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
  • Provide high-level care to patients and clients.
  • Engage in lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional client service.
  • Participate in external community involvement.
