Registered Veterinary Technicians - Specialty, ER & Critical Care
About The Position
Veritas Veterinary Partners is seeking experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) for its growing AVSG/VSSOC facility. This role offers the opportunity to work in a 24-hour specialty and emergency environment alongside board-certified specialists. The position requires advanced technical skills, critical thinking, and meticulous nursing care. RVTs will practice the full scope of their credential daily in a collaborative team setting, contributing to outstanding patient care. Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician required
- 2+ years working in a veterinary clinic
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community we serve
- Reliable, organized, and committed to provide high level care to our patients and clients
- A craving for lifelong learning and continuous improvements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected
- Honesty, integrity, and a desire to have fun!
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- All current positions require the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
Nice To Haves
- Emergency or Specialty experience preferred, but not required
- Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
- Diagnostic imaging assistance and basic interpretation (radiographs, ultrasound support)
- Anesthesia monitoring (vitals, depth assessment, adjustments)
- Medication calculation and administration (IV, IM, SQ, CRIs)
- Fluid therapy setup and maintenance
- Surgical prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling
- Patient monitoring (vitals, pain scoring, trend recognition)
- Nursing care for hospitalized patients (nutrition, wound care, hygiene)
