Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician with the OAVT (or eligible to register)
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
- Calm, compassionate demeanor under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for emergency medicine and patient care
Nice To Haves
- Previous ER or ICU experience is an asset (but not required)
Responsibilities
- Triage and assess emergency patients
- Assist with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures including radiography & CT scans.
- Monitor hospitalized and critical patients
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, teammates, and clients
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support a positive, collaborative team environment
