About The Position
Codornices Veterinary Clinic, a full-service small-animal practice in Albany, California, is seeking a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technician. The clinic is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to pets and their families in the East Bay. Services include wellness and preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics and imaging, surgery, dermatology, behavioral counseling, and pain management, with in-house diagnostic capabilities. The clinic emphasizes an experienced, collaborative veterinary team and strong client relationships, aiming to provide high-quality care throughout a pet's life. The ideal candidate will have RVT experience and be available to work Saturdays.
Requirements
- Experience as a Veterinary Technician
- Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Veterinary Technician Certification required – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.

- Available to help the clinic on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
- Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
