About The Position

VCA Laguna Niguel Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time! Our primary care practice is located in the heart of the beautiful city of Laguna Niguel. As a four-doctor hospital, we offer wellness and sick visits, general surgery and dentistry, in-house laboratory and radiology, and reference laboratory services. We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our amazing team, where we focus on patient care and the client experience. By utilizing fear-free methods and hands-free radiology, we put our patients at ease and keep our team safe. We offer employee training and development opportunities, and we know how to have fun!

Responsibilities

• Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring
• Surgery prep and Assisting
• Dental Scaling, Cleaning, Polishing & Radiographs
• Patient Recovery
• Animal Restraint
• Subcutaneous, Intramuscular, and Intravenous injections
• Administering Medications & Subcutaneous Fluids
• Venipuncture and IV Catheterization
• Technician Appointments
• Filling Prescriptions
• Diagnostic Radiographs
• Monitoring Hospitalized Patients
• Client Communication
