About The Position

We are looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who brings positive energy, strong clinical skills, and a genuine passion for helping pets live their best lives. The ideal candidate can transition between monitoring anesthesia, celebrating a puppy's first visit, and comforting a nervous client. This role is key to delivering top-tier nursing care, assisting veterinarians, performing diagnostics and treatments, and educating pet parents. The RVT will also help maintain clinic operations and advocate for patient comfort using Fear Free handling practices.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree required)
  • Successful completion of the VTNE and current RVT credentials
  • Previous veterinary experience (general practice experience is a plus)
  • Strong technical and clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and client education abilities
  • A positive attitude and team-first mindset
  • The ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine love for animals and the people who love them

Responsibilities

  • Deliver top-tier nursing care to patients throughout every stage of their visit.
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Collect samples, perform laboratory testing, place IV catheters, administer medications, and monitor hospitalized patients.
  • Monitor anesthesia and support patients before, during, and after surgery.
  • Educate pet parents on treatment plans, medications, preventative care, nutrition, and overall pet wellness.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication, empathy, and support.
  • Help keep clinic operations running smoothly by maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, and supporting your teammates.
  • Advocate for patient comfort, safety, and Fear Free handling practices whenever possible.
  • Be a voice for the pets who can't tell us what's wrong.
