About The Position

Newberry Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to work as part of our Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness team. Located in Newberry County, SC, Newberry Health is a 90-bed, acute care, independent, not-for-profit hospital. The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides high quality respiratory care to patients. Performs all clinical assignments as well as other duties in the department assigned by the coordinator.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) registration
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
• Works effectively with others
• Willingness to work under supervision; willing to assume responsibility for the supervision of others
• Conforms to established dress code policy. Always neat and in appropriate medical attire. Must adhere to facility policy for designated scrub color specific for department

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a cardiopulmonary/acute care clinical setting preferred
