Requirements

• 2 years of experience required
• Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions
• ACLS, BLS, RRT certificates required
• Active RRT SC State License
• 1 year of EPIC Charting System Experience Required
• Trauma Level I Experience Required
• Required experience with Servo U

Nice To Haves

• Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred but Not Required
• First Time Travelers Experience Accepted

Responsibilities

• Performing procedures using imaging modalities
• Ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes
• Extubation
• Nasal airway placements
• Suctioning
• Oral airway placement
• Oral suctioning
• Pulmonary hygiene
• Sputum specimen collection
• Tracheostomy care
• Administering albuterol, Atrovent, combivent, flovent, inhaled steroids, ispurel, lidocaine, perforomist, pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, spiriva, terbutaline sulfate, tobramycin, xopenex
• Delivering medication through aerosol set up mask, aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered Dos inhaler
• Using Handheld, T-piece and Trach collar nebulizers
• Using high flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy
• Using BiPaP, CPAP
• Troubleshooting high pressure alarms
• Weaning from mechanical ventilation
