About The Position
Join the Respiratory Therapy team at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas, as a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist on the night shift. The role performs respiratory care procedures in general and critical care settings. BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years, with a focus on providing quality healthcare in Christian love, service, and dignity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential verified through NBRC.
- For assignment to the ER or pediatrics, have current PALS certification.
- For assignment to the NICU, have current NRP certification.
