About The Position
A registered respiratory therapist performs critical and non-critical respiratory care procedures and diagnostics through physician directives and respiratory care protocols. The role may include selected cross-training activities and precepting students and new staff as directed. The therapist also performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Respiratory Care or Science.
- Florida RRT license.
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- NRP certification if applicable.
Responsibilities
