About The Position

East Alabama Medical Center seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist for its Surgery Center. The position performs diagnostic imaging according to ACR, facility, and radiologist standards; demonstrates radiation protection and safety for patients, staff, and self; and provides superior customer service consistent with the facility’s core values. The role also completes ancillary tasks to support efficient and consistent departmental operations. On-call duties, varying shifts, holidays, and weekends may be required.

Requirements

• Graduate of a School of Radiography or a hospital or military program where registry status can be obtained.
• BLS certification within 90 days of department transfer.
• ARRT-R registration, license, or certification.

Nice To Haves

• Recent hospital experience as a radiologic technologist.
• ARRT-R preferred registration, license, or certification.
