About The Position

Bupa’s Mindplace is developing a national network of mental health clinics to provide accessible, high-quality, and innovative mental health care across Australia. This is a patient-facing clinical role at the Mindplace practice in Seaforth, serving Bupa customers and others using Bupa services. The successful psychologist will support patients’ mental health journeys and contribute to the growth of the practice and Mindplace network. The role is permanent and may be full-time or part-time, with the posting specifying three days for the part-time arrangement.

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or a Master’s/Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
At least 5 years of recent clinical experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Advanced clinical expertise in mental health services.
Experience delivering high-quality care and fostering innovation in service delivery.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and provide evidence-based therapies.
Develop personalised treatment plans based on assessments and patient needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
Build and sustain collaborative relationships with referring healthcare providers to strengthen patient referral networks and support practice growth.
Coordinate with external providers to fulfil service requests within an established procedural framework.
