About The Position

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a skilled, compassionate Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to provide care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Requirements

Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
Current New York State Psychologist License.
Minimum of 1–2 years of supervised clinical experience.
Ability to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Postdoctoral experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic interviews and standardized testing such as personality, IQ, and behavioral assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
Provide psychotherapy to residents primarily in skilled nursing and long-term care settings, with opportunities for outpatient or community-based work if desired.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and educators, to ensure holistic care.
Provide psychoeducation to clients and families to promote mental health awareness and resilience.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development.
