About The Position

The Registered Products Administrator will have the opportunity to learn about not only our company, but also the niche market of clearing, custodial and trade execution services. The Registered Products team is responsible for settlements with our Trustee, RSP and TFSA contributions/deregistration’s, RESP administration, RRIF/LIF payment setup/recurring events, RRSP to RRIF rollovers, and Pension plan unlocking/administration. Processes all RESP withdrawals and transfer requests. Coordinates the timing and generation of ESDC monthly in/out grant files. Reconciles monthly RESP grant payment from ESDC with our system.

Requirements

Post-secondary education completed or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ of experience in the financial services industry.
Familiarity with different account types such as Non-Registered Accounts (Cash, Margin, Joint etc.) as well as Registered Accounts (RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs etc).
Excellent MS Excel skills
Effective team player and able to work independently
Strong written and verbal communicator
Eye for detail and strong time management skills
Passionate about delivering quality customer service, striving to exceed customers' expectations
Works independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of and/or experience in the brokerage industry
Completion of, or enrolment in, a financial services industry program (e.g. CSC)
Bilingual (verbal and written) in French and English
