About The Position

Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in the Canadian market, providing trade execution, clearing, custody, and back-office support services. The Registered Products Administrator will gain exposure to the clearing, custodial, and trade execution services niche market. The Registered Products team handles settlements with the Trustee, RSP and TFSA contributions/deregistration’s, RESP administration, RRIF/LIF payment setup/recurring events, RRSP to RRIF rollovers, and Pension plan unlocking/administration.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education completed or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ of experience in the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with different account types such as Non-Registered Accounts (Cash, Margin, Joint etc.) as well as Registered Accounts (RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs etc)
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communicator
  • An eye for detail and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of and/or experience in the brokerage industry
  • Completion of, or enrolment in, a financial services industry program (e.g. CSC)
  • Bilingual (verbal and written) in French and English

Responsibilities

  • Processes all RESP withdrawals and transfer requests
  • Coordinates the timing and generation of ESDC monthly in/out grant files
  • Reconciles monthly RESP grant payment from ESDC with our system
