About The Position

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will work on the Integrated Stroke Unit/Telemetry at Stratford General Hospital. This is a job-share position. The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is a multi-site organization committed to proactive change, partnerships, performance, and valuing its people to advance the healthcare system.

Requirements

Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Recent Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course or equivalent (current experience)
Recent 12 lead ECG interpretation course, or equivalent (current experience)

Nice To Haves

Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Cardiac Care and Acute Stroke/Stroke Rehab Nursing preferred
Recent related courses, in-services in Cardiac Care Nursing and Acute Stroke/Stroke Rehab Nursing preferred

Excellent physical assessment skills
