About The Position
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is seeking a Regular Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse for their Inpatient Unit in Clinton, ON. HPHA is a multi-site organization committed to proactive change, partnerships, performance, and valuing its people. This role involves providing nursing care within the Inpatient Unit.
Requirements
- Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of two (2) years recent nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred

- Demonstrated ability to manage a mixed inpatient caseload including acute care, complex continuing care, rehabilitation, paediatrics and palliative
- Demonstrated ability to work on an interdisciplinary team including community partners
- Well-developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing continuing education
- Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer applications
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
Responsibilities
- IV drug administration
- Insertion of Gastric tubes
- Flushing of PRN adaptors
- Subcutaneous portal insertion and drug administration
- Manage a mixed inpatient caseload including acute care, complex continuing care, rehabilitation, paediatrics and palliative
- Work on an interdisciplinary team including community partners
- Plan, organize and problem solve
