Requirements

Current, valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to prioritize resident needs and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion and commitment to providing quality resident-centered care
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team

Responsibilities

Providing compassionate, quality nursing care to residents
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Assessing resident conditions and prioritizing care needs
Developing and updating individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Monitoring residents and communicating changes in condition to medical providers and representatives
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Coordinating care with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
Supervising and supporting nursing assistants and other nursing staff
Promoting a safe, respectful, and positive environment
Building meaningful relationships with residents and helping bring joy to their daily lives
