About The Position
NaphCare is seeking dedicated Mental Health Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at the Mendocino County Jail in Ukiah, CA. This role offers the opportunity to utilize a wide range of skills, including cross-training in areas such as intake booking, mental health, detox, sick call, and health/physical assessments. Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- New grads are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities
- Take and document all patient history and vital signs
- Perform and document mental health screenings and/or evaluations
- Respond to and initiate care for medical and mental health emergencies
- Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
- Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
- Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
- Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
