Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Unit Full Time Days
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiovascular Unit. This is a Full Time position with 36 weekly hours, working Days (three 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p with every 3rd weekend rotation). The position is bonus eligible for qualified candidates. This role is within a Progressive Care Unit that includes 15 beds on CVI and 16 beds on CVU. CVI focuses on pre- and post-cardiac intervention patients, including PTCA, cardioversion, and generator implants, as well as patients with atypical chest pain requiring cardiac monitoring. CVU provides post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients after open-heart recovery. RNs will care for patients throughout their entire journey, from intervention to discharge. New graduate nurses are encouraged to apply. The Cardiac Nurse will assess patient needs, implement interventions, and maintain a nursing care plan. Strong critical thinking skills are essential for providing technical care and guiding patients and families through their cardiac journey.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky RN License
- BCLS Required
- ACLS Required
