Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Unit PRN Days
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Unit. This is a PRN, Dayshift position. The unit is a Progressive Care Unit with two sections: CVI (15 beds) and CVU (16 beds). CVI focuses on patients undergoing or recovering from cardiac interventions like PTCA, cardioversion, and generator implants, as well as those with atypical chest pain requiring cardiac monitoring. CVU provides post-operative care for patients after open-heart surgery. RNs manage patient care throughout their entire journey, from intervention to discharge. New graduate nurses are welcome to apply. The Cardiac Nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing interventions, and maintaining nursing care plans. Strong critical thinking skills are necessary for providing technical care and supporting patients and families through their cardiac care.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky RN License
- BCLS Required
- ACLS Required
