About The Position

This role involves assessing and diagnosing patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients in the Emergency Room. The Registered Nurse will develop, discuss, and communicate a realistic plan of care for each patient in collaboration with the patient and their family. They will implement the medical plan of care and nursing interventions, and continuously evaluate patient responses to ensure needs are met and quality care is delivered. Accurate documentation of nursing care is essential for team collaboration. The role also requires maintaining current knowledge, pursuing professional growth, and serving as a role model for staff. Responsibilities extend to all duties required by the emergency unit/critical care division, considering the unique nature and age of the patients served.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures
• Ability to maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge/certification/licensure
• Willingness to pursue professional growth and development
• Ability to function as a role model
