Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, direct patient care by following established evidence-based clinical practices and protocols to ensure the highest standards of safety and recovery.
  • Assess and continuously monitor patient conditions, accurately documenting their healthcare journey to facilitate real-time updates and seamless communication across the medical team.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams, acting as the central point of contact to ensure a holistic, well-aligned treatment plan for every patient.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders with precision, prioritizing critical interventions and managing daily clinical tasks to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Advocate for patient transitions by collaborating early with the healthcare team on comprehensive discharge planning, ensuring a safe, smooth, and well-prepared return home.
