About The Position

Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Westfield, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Pediatric Primary Care department. This role involves a 4-10 hour day schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with Tuesdays off. The nurse will play a crucial role in leading clinical patient flow, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting providers with outpatient procedures. They will also coordinate the continuum of care by managing referrals, follow-ups, and specialty communication. Additionally, the nurse will support patient health literacy by translating physician orders into understandable education plans and streamline treatment implementation by accurately executing clinical orders and documenting patient progress.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities
